Essentis Creative Studio was commissioned to develop the brand identity for Waldheim, a high-end hotel located in the mountains of Gramado, Brazil. Surrounded by native forest and immersed in silence, Waldheim is more than a lodging experience. It is a deliberate retreat into nature, comfort, and introspection. The project encompassed naming, strategic positioning, verbal and visual identity, and the complete design of the brand experience.

The name Waldheim, derived from the German word for “home in the forest,” sets the tone for a brand that communicates quiet luxury, timelessness, and discretion. It draws from European hospitality heritage while remaining rooted in the natural richness of Brazil. The brand is positioned as a sanctuary for those seeking authenticity, privacy, and sensory depth.

The visual identity was designed with restraint and intention. The logotype is built with classical proportions and subtle typographic adjustments that convey balance and permanence. The color palette is muted and grounded in forest green, stone gray, and off-white.

Every application was crafted with care and precision. Stationery, signage, keycards, and guest amenities were designed to feel quiet, intentional, and cohesive. The tone of voice follows the same logic. Rather than speaking loudly, the brand communicates with intimacy, focus, and subtle emotional resonance.

Waldheim does not rely on clichés of opulence. Its premium position is expressed through breathing space in the design, materials that age gracefully, and a brand language that suggests rather than declares. In a saturated market of performative luxury, Waldheim offers something rare. It is a place to feel. To reconnect. To stay fully and truly.
