The Natural Confectionery Co. came to us with a clear challenge: bring a new product concept to life that would meet growing demand for better-for-you lollies without losing the joy, flavour, or playfulness the brand is known for. The brief was bold: celebrate real ingredients, true-to-fruit flavour, and an indulgent sensory experience, all in a format that felt fresh yet unmistakably TNCC.
The result was Juicy Bursts: a centre-filled jelly lolly made with fruit juice concentrate and free from artificial colours and flavours. A burst of flavour on the inside. A bold new design on the outside.
As strategic design partners, our role was to translate this innovation into a cohesive and compelling pack. One that balanced joy and juice, fun and function, taste and trust.
Our approach centred on vibrant storytelling and fruit-first design. Expressive illustrations and bold flavour cues amplified the idea of ‘true-to-fruit’, while custom shapes helped bring the centre-filled format to life. Every detail, from natural language to oozing visual assets, worked hard to communicate taste appeal and real fruit credibility.
Juicy Bursts is now on shelf—bringing bold flavour to life with a pack that stops shoppers in their tracks. Hyper-realistic fruit renders work hard to deliver instant taste appeal, while vibrant colours and confident branding ensure the product stands out in a crowded confectionery aisle. The result? A strong visual and sensory presence that delivers from shelf to first bite.
