A Touch of Jewelry, A Taste of Rosé

First Aleksandrouli by Simoneti Wine Cellar is a rosé crafted from the Aleksandrouli grape, sourced from Georgia’s Kvareli region.

Aleksandrouli wines are traditionally dry or semi-sweet, celebrated for their softness and aromas of raspberry and black cherry. Simoneti Wine Cellar has bottled, for the first time, a rosé entirely made from this grape, resulting in a pale salmon-colored wine that is balanced with aromas and flavors of strawberry, black currant, and dried fruit.

This distinctiveness influenced the design, starting with the choice of the name. The packaging is treated as a piece of jewelry, featuring a transparent glass capsule and a sensual bottle that shows the pale salmon color of the wine. The label is designed to resemble a collar or bracelet with two symmetrical sides, giving equal visibility to the English and Georgian text. At the center, a cameo depicting a young lady’s hand pointing upwards invites customers to notice the elegant lines and long neck of the bottle and at the same time symbolizing the gesture of “first.”

The transparent, ergonomic capsule and bottle have been chosen also with sustainability in mind, encouraging users to repurpose the bottle for other uses, such as serving water.
The entire label is framed by a subtle graphic motif created with blind debossing on UPM Raflatac Paper. A rosé KURZ foil highlights the wine type and frames the Victorian-style illustration.

Printed in Italy by Sanfaustino Labels, this design aims to reconsider the traditional division between front and rear labels, replacing them with a unified collar that invites admiration from every angle.
