For Foempies – a vegan, sustainable and ethically produced shoe brand – I developed a visual campaign that places honesty and simplicity at its heart. In a market where many brands overpromise or rely on empty buzzwords, Foempies chooses a radically transparent approach. That ethos became the foundation for the campaign. Rather than clutter or overdesign, the visuals are stripped down to their essence: clean layouts, bold typography, and minimalist illustrations that convey the brand’s commitment to doing things differently.
The campaign’s look and feel reflects the core values of Foempies: sustainability, ethical manufacturing, and a reduced impact on both people and planet. That lighter footprint is not only literal – thanks to the vegan, eco-conscious materials – but also visual. The designs avoid unnecessary embellishment and instead focus on direct, honest communication. Each element is purposeful. Each poster, label, or packaging design is meant to feel calm, clear, and confident.
This project allowed me to combine several of my strengths – branding, illustration and concept-driven storytelling – into a cohesive series of touchpoints. Together, they form a narrative that resonates with consumers who value transparency and brands that dare to take a stand. Aimed at conscious buyers and future-forward businesses, the campaign shows how visual design can be quiet yet powerful. It proves that when the message is true, there’s no need to shout – clarity is louder than noise.
