Student Branding for Hotel for Dogs “Friends for Pets” by Tatiana Myravyova

“Friends for Pets” is more than a hotel for dogs, it is a real resort for your pet. While you are traveling, your pet does not just spend time in comfort and safety, but enjoys active games with new friends, fun walks and the care of experienced dog handlers. Here, every little tail will find a company to its liking and return home full of energy and joyful impressions.

The rebranding project of “Friends for Pets” was determined by the desire to fully reflect the unique essence of this place – not just a boarding house, but a real resort for beloved pets. The task was to move away from the stereotypical perception of hotels for animals and create a visual language that would clearly convey the key idea: “Your pet is like a child who needs not only supervision, but also a fun vacation.” It was important to convey the atmosphere of carefree fun, active recreation and sincere care that each pet receives at “Friends for Pets”. The central visual metaphor of the updated identity is the hotel’s stylized “landscape plan” or “adventure map.” This element is not a strict plan, but rather a playful, abstract map that outlines the various activity and recreation areas available to the pet: playgrounds, walking paths, areas for socializing with other “guests,” and cozy corners for relaxation. This “map” symbolizes the rich and varied experience, full of discoveries and new impressions, that awaits each guest. The use of a palette of bright, juicy, and joyful colors emphasizes this idea, making the visual image dynamic, positive, and full of energy, just like the happy pets themselves.

The entire graphic system, from the logo to the design of the corporate materials, is permeated with friendliness and playfulness. The selected typography is soft, rounded, easy to read, and inviting, and the illustrative elements that complement the “landscape plan” can include stylized paw prints, toys, or silhouettes of joyfully running animals. These details create a feeling of warmth and care, emphasizing that “Friends for Pets” is a place where each pet is surrounded by attention and love, just like on the best vacation with friends.

The updated brand “Friends for Pets” now does not just talk, but visually screams about joy, activity and boundless fun. The identity transforms the promise of a “resort for pets” into a tangible, attractive image, instilling confidence in owners that their four-legged friend is not only safe, but also truly happy and enjoying every minute of his “vacation”. This is a visual story about how time apart can be filled with bright emotions and unforgettable adventures for a pet.
