Riza Studio Elevates Coffee Culture with a Dynamic and Authentic Brand Identity for Tostado

Tostado Speciality Coffee brings the soul of Latin American coffee to Europe through rich storytelling and a bold visual identity. With a focus on creative direction, custom lettering, illustration, and packaging, the brand captures the artisanal process behind every bean — from origin to cup reflecting Tostado’s essence: authentic, warm, and rooted in tradition.

It was born from the vision of a group of Venezuelan friends passionate about sharing the best of Latin American coffee, with a commitment to creating a positive impact on the lives of our producers.

The brand is dedicated to hand-selecting and roasting each bean, elevating coffee into a unique sensorial experience that evokes the origin and essence of its land.

For Tostado’s brand development, we created a visual system that reflects the energy and warmth of coffee. The logo uses custom lettering, balanced by the clean and bold General Sans typeface. Our color palette is vibrant and versatile, capturing the dynamic spirit of the brand. Photography highlights real moments and rich coffee textures—used as backgrounds or framed in oval shapes inspired by a coffee cup’s rim. These ovals also appear as minimalist stickers to identify each coffee. Illustrations, including our signature battery character that “charges” with coffee, add a playful and human touch. The 250g packaging is clean and modern, while the 1kg version uses hand-applied stickers, making each bag unique. On social media, bold text, photos, stickers, and illustrations come together to express Tostado’s handcrafted, authentic essence.
