Rosario Claudio Lo Iacono Elevates Easter Icons with a Refined and Reusable Packaging Experience

A packaging project born from the desire to transform two iconic symbols of Easter tradition – the dove and the egg – into collectible objects, capable of communicating craftsmanship, delicacy and care through a refined and contemporary aesthetic.

For the dove box, the starting point was the lightness of flight. A stylised dove takes shape through subtle and dynamic signs, between calligraphy and illustration, which suggest movement and purity. The dominant colour is light blue, chosen for its ethereal aura and for the chromatic link with spirituality and spring. The contrast with the warm gold finishes – used both for the graphic details and for the quote by Erri De Luca that decorates the pack – adds a precious touch, without ever being excessive.

The artisanal Easter egg is enclosed in a metal cylinder with a lid closure and rope handle. Here too we find the satin light blue and gold, reinterpreted in a vertical composition that communicates elegance, essentiality and continuity with the dove project. The packaging is designed not only to protect the product, but to become a reusable and iconic object, keeping the experience alive even after consumption.

Both packagings are made by Luxury Box Sicilia, a company specializing in containers, and are part of a limited-edition Easter project, aimed at an audience attentive to quality, beauty and visual storytelling.

The Nautica typography, designed by RSZ Type, helps define the identity of the project, with a thin and sophisticated line that recalls handwriting, while maintaining balance and readability.

The goal was to tell a story made of craftsmanship and poetry, without falling into the graphic clichés of the holiday, but by building a clean, evocative and coherent visual identity. The creative direction wanted to avoid rhetoric, focusing on an aesthetic that was capable of transmitting emotion with a few elements: a contained palette, soft shapes, balance between text and image.

The result is a project that enhances the Italian confectionery tradition in a contemporary key.
