Singani, as we have said, is a grape distillate originally from Bolivia. It is produced from Moscatel de Alejandría grapes and has a Denomination of Origin that limits the areas where it can be produced. The main area is the department of Tarija, whose vineyards are at high altitude, between 1800 and 2200 meters above sea level. This is one of the main features of singani, the altitude at which the grapes are grown gives it its organoleptic characteristics and makes it better preserve the aromas. This spirit was declared Bolivia’s national heritage.

Due to the strong roots of the Bolivian civilization with the original, its national drink could not have other lands as origin. The first mention of a primitive distillation of grapes in the area dates back to 1650.

Rupestre Singani Premium is a sustainable handmade distillate. This product is a window into the fascinating origins of the ancestral cultures of Tarija, Bolivia.

This packaging allows us to travel back in time to learn about the life and culture of the ancestral people who lived and gave birth to Tarija, Bolivia. By means of a front label printed on transparent OPP, a rocky window is created, revealing an artwork printed on the reverse side of the back label, generating an interesting effect between the liquid of the product and the artwork. In the window design, the Rupestre brand isotype can be seen as part of the pattern design.

The use of printing resources such as copper foil and embossed matte silkscreen printing allowed us to create a packaging design that reinforces the concept of rock art and the vestiges of what happened in ancient times.

The illustration shows what life was like and the activities that these ancient populations carried out on a daily basis, such as fishing, gathering, art, etc.
