Crafted With Art and Intent—Divini Packaging Design by Devalok

Wellness isn’t just about being healthy—it’s about how naturally and effortlessly it becomes an enjoyable part of your day.

Divini is more than just a brand; it is an embodiment of a philosophy—living with intention. At the heart of Divini lies the vision to blend health and elegance into the modern lifestyle. Divini offers a vibrant line of kombucha, a probiotic beverage that combines ancient fermentation techniques with contemporary flavours. Each drop is crafted to turn a simple refreshment into a moment of mindful living.

When Mason Domecq (founder) approached us, the brand was called scoby drinks. Scoby in the name stood for ‘symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast’

Our challenge was translating his vision into a brand with universal appeal while maintaining an elegant and artistic touch. Mason wanted to craft a brand as functional as it was vibrant. It was about changing how people perceived health drinks, bridging the gap between clinical branding and overly indulgent options. On initial observation, “Scoby drinks,” where scoby stood for ‘symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast, ’ felt too technical and mundane for a brand seeking cultural significance. It lacked the emotional connection mason sought.

What we needed was a name that reflected the brand’s commitment to a higher level of wellness where people live mindfully in touch with their ‘divine selves’, and drawing from that, we proposed “Divini”. A brand that embraces Divinity and inspires others to do the same. To make Divini a part of people’s lifestyles, we needed it to be accessible. Bottled drinks can sometimes feel too formal. We wanted something portable, fun, and unfussy, fitting effortlessly into any setting, from a yoga class to a skate park to a corporate office; thus, we envisioned Divini in a can. This choice was foundational, allowing us to build an approachable brand experience aligning with the youthful yet grounded energy that Divini embodies. The aim was a brand that could sit effortlessly at a high-end health retreat or in the hands of a college student at a music festival.

We saw the can as more than packaging; it was our canvas. From the beginning, we knew the visuals needed to reflect a spiritual essence. We started by exploring sources like old book prints, celtic and gothic designs and herringbone patterns. But their aesthetic was slightly too aged for Divini—until we discovered glasgow-style art and charles rennie mackintosh. Recognized as a scottish manifestation of the art nouveau movement, this style revolutionized commercial art in the late 19th century.

Drawing inspiration from both of our explorations, we aimed to create something that felt both timeless and fresh. The smooth celtic knots and gothic-inspired borders celebrate the artistry of fermentation, while the glasgow elements and organic motifs convey the story of the natural ingredients within.

Each element was chosen to speak to Divini’s holistic philosophy. This artistic identity ensures that our beverage isn’t just seen but experienced through all senses and makes Divini a blend of art, lifestyle, and health.

Now seen at concerts, sports events, and outdoor adventures, Divini doesn’t just fit in—it stands out. It redefines what it means to drink well, live well, and look good doing it.
