The Odesa brand was founded in 1896 by Henri Roederer, a descendant of a well-known family of champagne makers from France. From its very inception, the winery established a strong reputation for excellence, carefully cultivating vineyards in the south of the Odesa region, an area renowned for its ideal winemaking conditions. Over the decades, Odesa has witnessed numerous historical events, yet its commitment to quality and tradition has remained unwavering. To this day, the winery continues to produce its sparkling wines exclusively from its own vineyards, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and a deep connection to the terroir.
In 2024, the brand embarked on an exciting new chapter by refreshing its identity, starting with the “Odesa Classic” line of sparkling wines. The entire visual identity underwent a thoughtful transformation, with all design elements carefully refined to achieve a perfect balance of elegance, modernity, and timeless appeal. The logo’s typography was noticeably simplified and enhanced, allowing it to retain a sophisticated yet enduring character for years to come.
A significant update was also made to the label design, introducing an additional small fourth label in the form of a heraldic shield. This feature pays homage to the brand’s heritage while seamlessly integrating with a more universal rectangular shape for the main label. Other key elements, including the iconic anchor symbol, were streamlined and polished, reinforcing the brand’s identity in a way that feels both familiar and refreshingly modern.
Through this meticulous redesign, Odesa winery continues to celebrate its rich history while embracing a new, refined aesthetic—one that reflects its ongoing dedication to craftsmanship, innovation, and the timeless artistry of winemaking.
