Alessandri Design & Brand Studio was founded by Cordula Alessandri and Hans Proschofsky in Vienna. The studio is dedicated to developing brand concepts that go beyond mere appearance, believing strongly in the power of brands. The studio has demonstrated expertise in creating comprehensive brand strategies, with a focus on developing design concepts that are meaningful and impactful.
Alessandri Design showcased their exceptional talent in creating an outstanding wine label for Weingut Batthyány, a prestigious winery with deep roots in Burgenland’s history. The design studio’s work for Batthyány exemplifies their ability to blend heritage with contemporary aesthetics.
The Batthyány family has shaped the history of Burgenland for generations. And now it is influencing its flavours. Premium wines and exclusive honey call for the right regalia – which is why we turned to one of the finest coats of arms in the Austro-Hungarian military for our inspiration. Noblesse oblige, as they say.
The label design for Batthyány wines reflects the noble lineage of the family, incorporating elements that speak to their generations-long influence in the region. Alessandri Design’s approach to this project demonstrates their skill in crafting visual identities that not only capture the essence of the brand but also elevate it to new heights.
In their creation for Batthyány, Alessandri Design likely employed their signature attention to detail and typography expertise. The resulting label design is described as “edel” (noble or refined), which perfectly aligns with the winery’s prestigious background.
