When I was about 9 years old, I had a lot of headaches, on the recommendation of a friend, I first drank herbal tea for a headache, which is rich in antioxidants and relieved my headache pain. This is where I started to develop a closer relationship with tea. Few people know about blooming tea balls, which is why I think it’s a good idea for even more people to get to know them. The unique beauty of tea is hidden inside the ball. It is not just a simple tea, its ideological value is worth mentioning and during my research I would like to mention many interesting things about tea. When the tea ball blooms, time stops for a moment. In such cases, tradition holds that you should stop and break away from the monotonous everyday life, and focus on yourself. In addition to the many beneficial effects of tea, which I will describe later, it also has properties worthy of admiration. It is extremely interesting to me how much history a small plant has had over the years and how it became known worldwide, as well as how traditions dating back hundreds of years arose from a single coincidence that we owe to the wind. My target group is families and adults. While the adults are having tea and relaxing, the children can occupy themselves with the tea boxes in the box, as they can display pictures in the form of a puzzle. Thus, the whole tea packaging is a family pastime, because in the fast-paced world we can spend little time with our loved ones. The topic of my thesis is the Chinese blooming tea packaging, which is a wonderful and aesthetic part of the traditional Chinese tea drinking culture. My goal is to present in detail the customs and traditions of Chinese tea drinking, which are deeply rooted in Chinese culture. These tea balls not only enhance the tea enjoyment, but also provide a visual experience, they first disintegrate in the hot water, symbolizing the harmony between nature and man. I have endeavored to thoroughly present the cultural tradition of blooming teas dating back thousands of years, which is closely intertwined with everyday life, social relations and mental peace. Drinking tea is not only a habit, but also a ritual that promotes social relationships, giving friends and family members the opportunity to spend time together. I hope that my thesis will help to make Chinese tea-making traditions more widely known and recognized, and to further increase interest in the blooming tea balls.
