Bean Creative and BVGA: Crafting a Bold New Era for Vietnamese Golf Branding

The Ba Ria – Vung Tau Golf Association (BVGA), established in 2006, has long been a pillar of the country’s golfing community. With the largest membership base in Vietnam and a reputation for hosting global-standard tournaments and training programs, BVGA has cemented its authority in the sport.

Amid the growing popularity of golf in Vietnam, BVGA recognized the need for a revitalized identity system to reflect its expanding business model and ambitious vision. To achieve this, the association enlisted the expertise of BEAN CREATIVE® to craft a bold and unconventional brand identity that would elevate its standing in the golfing world.

The redesigned logo presents BVGA’s name in a sleek, circular format, echoing the shape of a golf ball. Each letter is tall and symmetrical, reflecting the association’s professionalism and prestige. Unique elements, like the angles of the ‘V’ and ‘A,’ were inspired by a golfer’s poised stance before a swing, adding an element of dynamism to the design.

Steering away from the subdued tones typical of the industry, BEAN CREATIVE® introduced a striking neon green palette. This bold color reflects BVGA’s dynamic energy and forward-thinking ethos, ensuring the brand commands attention with confidence and flair.

Inspired by the concept of a “hole-in-one,” the identity includes three key visuals that celebrate technical skill and achievement in golf. These visuals underline BVGA’s dedication to excellence and have become integral to the association’s refreshed branding.

The new brand identity debuted during BVGA’s Fairway to Life tournament, seamlessly integrating into the association’s website, social media platforms, and event touchpoints. The revamped identity has not only enhanced BVGA’s visibility but also attracted new members and investors eager to align with its dynamic vision.

With this bold transformation, BVGA is poised to redefine Vietnam’s golfing landscape, blending innovation with tradition to lead the sport into a new era.
