A Classic, Renewed:
Limited Edition Packaging for Super Bolachas
Emphasizing the special edition.
The Fozkudia industrial group in Angola proposed to me to develop a packaging design proposal for a gift box, the project is for one of the main brands in its portfolio, Super Bolachas. It was a special and limited edition project for the largest international commercial event in Angola, the Filda.
The great challenge was to create a solution that presents a modern and appealing design that maintains the essence of the Super Bolachas brand identity, with collections of its iconic brands Maria, Wafer, Football, and Fix Fix.
Create a visual solution that conveys emotion, boldness, and elegance, composed of vibrant colors and playful shapes, evoking the joy and nostalgia of moments of experience with the brands.
The colors blue and red, key elements of the Super Bolachas visual identity, were intensified to create a recognizable and memorable visual. The packaging, created with simple geometric lines, brings fun details that make it an emotional packaging, this aspect was intentional to reinforce the public’s desire at the first contact with the products.
The combination of colors and the design of the box gives it a vibrant, sophisticated, and youthful feel at the same time.
Typography that highlights the Super Bolachas slogan “Delicious and Nutritious” is Cabrito Serif, a super clean, legible typeface that strikes a friendly balance between elegance and sophistication.
