This idea brings a fresh challenge to Break as we aim to translate the iconicity and rich tradition of Bauli into an entirely different visual and communicative context. We are tasked with adapting Bauli’s signature style to the new ‘gelato’ shelf, which typically carries a much more contemporary and lively aesthetic that appeals to a broad, modern audience.

The design concept focuses on balancing key elements such as media color, food appeal, and dynamic design, all while ensuring that the visual identity remains tightly connected to the foundational values of the Bauli brand. The goal is to ensure that Bauli’s visual identity and communication stay true to its heritage but also resonate with today’s consumers, reflecting modern tastes and trends.

It’s crucial that the packaging and visual messaging convey a sense of continuity, authenticity, and timelessness, while also capturing the attention of consumers who are accustomed to different visual codes and trends on the gelato shelf.

In addition, Bauli’s gelato range goes beyond the traditional seasonal icons and incorporates the world of breakfast at home. With the introduction of Croissant flavor as part of the offering, it further elevates the brand experience, allowing consumers to discover Bauli in new and exciting ways. This expansion not only enriches the product line but brings a sense of novelty to the brand’s identity.
