Introducing “Baba de Camelo”: a delicious dessert from Micau’s range of traditional Portuguese sweets.
It is a typical Portuguese dessert whose origins are thought to lie in the early 20th century. The rather curious name raises speculation about its origin. Apparently, it was a moment of inspiration from someone who needed to quickly invent a recipe.
Our mission was to create a packaging design that not only stands out from the competitors but also elevates the product to a level of excellence.
The design of this packaging reflects the sophistication of the Deco movement of the early 20th century, while still being modern and creative. A recipe for success, no doubt!
The Deco font, with its geometric design and clean, structured lines, evokes luxury and elegance, giving the product a unique identity on the market. Its warm, dark amber color conveys feelings of warmth, comfort and indulgence. An elegant yet natural color, ideal for conveying sophistication with a touch of familiarity.
The contemporary and elegant blue-green background harmonizes with the colors of the dessert on the packaging, conveying tranquility and stability, balancing the design and reinforcing the harmony between sophistication and naturalness.
The decorative pattern of the background evokes the pattern of traditional tiles, with a subtle color palette.
The image of the dessert highlights the creamy, rich texture of “Baba de Camelo”, inviting the consumer to anticipate a rich sensory experience.
