Rossana’s Rebranding: Building a Coffee Culture that Celebrates Community and Creativity by The Morris Project

Rossana is a mobile espresso bar featuring hand-crafted food & drinks for special events, markets, and festivals. Using only the freshest, quality ingredients, they utilize sustainable practices to bring good vibes & great coffee to local communities. You don’t just hire Rossana to work for your party – Rossana is the party!

Inspired by a mission to build community around an appreciation of art, and the desire to put a smile on a simple every day routine, our eyes turned to Joan Miró. An artist who celebrated creativity and disrupting the norm, his work shifted increasingly to the surreal, creating paintings filled with unexpected characters and themes of wonder, joy, nature, love, and escape.

We look to create a community of distinct characters inspired by the great Spanish artist. From the simple coffee cup and beans to a morning bird, a night owl and a creative coffee drinker, we offer imagery that resonates with the richness of spirit Rossana brings wherever they travel.

Our copywriter looked to provide a tag line that represented the energy and mission of Rossana. We presented “Happy Little Routines” and the client loved that The Morris Project provided graphics, copy and strategy that not only aligned so close to Rossana’s mission but the founders ethos.

Missions
It’s All About Coffee…and Some
– Bring exceptional coffee to local communities, while being as sustainable as possible.
– Offer a range of fun & interesting coffee based drinks, including coffee slushies.
– Promote the concept of coffee as a personal, enjoyable routine.

Community Cultivation
– Become a bona fide staple at local events, markets etc.
– Broaden our customer base across a wider demographic of both locals and visitors.
– Foster a strong in-house connection between staff and guests.
– Consistently communicate with our community on offerings and our locations.

Expand The Brand
– Hit regular locations several times a week, while building events and market bookings.
– Maintain a high level of marketing and interaction on social media platforms.
– Produce quality merchandise that excites people & spreads the word.
– Build a brick & mortar space where coffee, art, and community live together!

Support Conscientious Hospitality.
– Ensure there is humor, fun and kindness behind every interaction.
– Create good, well-paying jobs our team can be proud of and are fully vested in.
– Place a strong emphasis on a healthy work/life balance for all.
