Our Liganova Amsterdam team was entrusted with launching Rituals’ autumn/winter limited edition, the Alchemy Collection, across multiple locations in Amsterdam. Rituals tasked us with bringing this collection to life in a memorable, multi-sensory format that captured the allure of alchemy.
Our objective was to create a captivating in-store experience at the House of Rituals flagship store in Amsterdam, transforming key areas, including the promotional space, one prominent window, and two interactive rooms in the Mezzanine—rooms that had previously hosted a special Influencer event at Rituals’ headquarters. To extend the campaign’s reach, we also transformed two display windows at de Bijenkorf Amsterdam, creating continuity in the brand’s seasonal storytelling.
The design concept was inspired by the Alchemy Collection’s rich color palette, luxurious packaging, and alchemical symbolism. By incorporating gradients, shiny reflective materials, and oversized product displays, we emphasized both mystery and opulence, inviting passersby and visitors to explore the unique aesthetic of the collection. These installations were designed to evoke a sense of wonder, transforming both locations into immersive brand worlds that engaged the senses.
To create a more interactive experience, we collaborated with Fridie to design an innovative RFID-enabled table that allowed visitors to explore each product’s unique ingredients and benefits, deepening their understanding of the collection. In the interactive rooms, the collection came to life through thoughtfully designed lighting and soundscapes that added to the mystique of the space.
One of the standout elements was the gyroscope, produced by LigaProduction, which showcased Rituals’ signature foaming shower gel. This centerpiece was framed by elegantly illuminated display plinths, enhancing the product’s visual appeal and emphasizing its luxurious texture. Each design choice contributed to a cohesive experience that transformed everyday self-care into an alchemical ritual, making this campaign truly unforgettable for every visitor.
