Cappelli Identity Design developed a dynamic visual identity for DF Francia, a renowned luxury furniture maker with a decade-long legacy in bespoke design. Our concept draws inspiration from the intricate beauty of natural wood patterns, celebrating the unique textures and grains that define each type of wood. This organic elegance is translated into a distinctive visual system that pays homage to the raw materials at the heart of DF Francia’s creations.

The logotype, designed with the Bauer Bodoni typeface, embodies Italy’s rich artistic heritage while conveying modern sophistication. To enhance stability and evoke precision, we customized the typeface, mirroring the clean cuts characteristic of fine woodworking.

Each element of this identity, from typography to texture, is infused with the essence of wood, capturing its natural beauty and timeless elegance. With this identity, DF Francia’s legacy of craftsmanship and artistry is showcased, bringing the elegance of wood to life in every touchpoint.

Cappelli Identity design uses its own design methodology, the Dynamic brand, to craft such design identities and visual languages. Designing following the Dynamic brand methodology means putting the role of the individual back at the center of corporate communication, developing fluid and coherent communication across all communication media.
