2yolk Elevates Melissa’s Brand Identity – A Design Inspired by Greek Farmland

2yolk unveils new look for Melissa aligned with a long heritage of farm-fresh goodness

Melissa, a cherished Greek food brand with a rich 75-year legacy, has recently embarked on an exciting journey with 2yolk to revamp its image and better reflect its farm-to-fork values. This transformation blends time-honored traditions with contemporary flair, renewing the brand’s visual identity while remaining steadfastly connected to its Greek heritage.

Melissa, renowned for its high-quality pasta and wheat products, is expanding its product range to include innovative, wheat-free options. This evolution is beautifully captured in the new packaging, which evokes the essence of the Greek countryside through a palette of earthy tones and subtle hints of Mediterranean blue. These design elements not only celebrate the natural beauty of Greek farmland but also underscore the brand’s dedication to sustainability and local farming practices.

The updated packaging features bold, clear statements such as “from 100% Greek durum wheat” and “Greek Pasta from Select Greek Fields,” highlighting Melissa’s commitment to quality and its support for Greek farmers. The logo has been thoughtfully refined to ensure it resonates with modern aesthetics while retaining its classic appeal.

Among the design innovations, the introduction of transparent windows allows for easy product recognition, enhancing the consumer experience. This strategic redesign unifies the brand’s visual identity, streamlining the consumer journey across its diverse pasta range and establishing a coherent portfolio architecture.

Ultimately, Melissa’s refreshed look is more than a visual update; it is a celebration of the deep connection between food, land and community. It invites consumers to experience not just a meal, but a story – a narrative rich with tradition, innovation and a deep love for all things Greek.
