The New Personal Brand for Luca Vullo, Italian Gestures Ambassador by Cappelli Identity Design

At Cappelli Identity Design studio, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Luca Vullo, a versatile director and actor, to craft a visual identity that mirrors his dynamic career in theater, film and education. Our design process focused on capturing the essence of Luca’s unique approach to communication, particularly his emphasis on body language as a powerful tool for expression that made him the “Italian Gestures Ambassador” around the world.

The identity we developed for Luca Vullo is vibrant, bold, and reflective of his artistic ethos. For his multifaceted persona, we designed a dynamic personal brand. Following the Dynamic brand design methodology, we started from the concept of “Accord”, that movement which creates a vibration and oscillates between space and time.

For the logo, we designed a deliberately misaligned typographic composition where the V captures the moment Luca Vullo takes the stage. One of the key challenges was ensuring that the identity was versatile enough to be applied across various mediums and platforms. Whether it was for his online presence, promotional materials, or educational content, the identity had to be cohesive and impactful. We achieved this by creating a flexible design system that maintains consistency while allowing for creativity and variation depending on the context.

Our collaboration with Luca Vullo is a testament to the power of design in enhancing an individual’s brand. The identity we created is more than just a visual representation. It’s an extension of Luca’s personality and his work, bridging the gap between his artistic endeavors and his audience.
