Reviving old fruit varieties, combining fruit grower and winemaker knowledge and creating a completely new sparkling wine experience – that is Niko Brandner’s vision. I was able to visualize this vision and strategically shape the positioning of the new brand. Starting with a workshop on positioning and naming through to the final packaging and corporate design, we launched “Von Wiesen” together in 2020/2021. Niko Brandner and his team are doing pioneering work in the sparkling fruit wine segment and this should also be reflected in all its individuality in the design, brand and positioning of “Von Wiesen”. So we decided on an illustrative framework that takes up the interplay between nature and producer both in terms of content and visuals. The packaging lives from its details. This also reflects the work of Niko Brandner and his team. The design combines the demand for high quality, closeness to nature, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The typographic design also plays a very important role in the corporate design of “Von Wiesen”. Here we opted for a custom type solution and modified Franziska Weitgruber’s Roba specifically for our design idea so that it contains all of the brand values of “Von Wiesen”. Franziska Weitgruber has incorporated beautiful details here. The redesigned “Roba Classic” gives the packaging and corporate design the necessary elegance and modernity.
