During the reign of King D. João V, Dom Pedro de Almeida was granted the title of Marquis of Alorna for his remarkable achievements in Goa. He began constructing a palace and vineyards which produced some of the finest wines in the region. Recently, we created a new graphic identity for the Quinta da Alorna logo. The design emphasizes the octagon that has been a part of its history for several decades. The labels of its wines were also redesigned, highlighting the Quinta da Alorna brand and reinforcing the origin of the wines, which are produced exclusively from grapes grown on the property. The image of the palace was also incorporated into the design, in a more modern and irreverent way, to showcase the grandeur of this estate. To celebrate the 300th anniversary of this historic property, an exclusive edition has been created that includes a hardcover book detailing Quinta da Alorna’s journey through time.
