Organ, Tradition and Family

Loculto is one of the wines from Piedras de San Pedro Winery located in Pesquera de Duero, Valladolid, Spain. A few months ago they decided that it was time to renew the image of their wines and they commissioned us to design the new design of their Loculto Crianza.

This three-generation family winery receives its name in memory of the large stones that were found surrounding the Hermitage of San Pedro, where in the past, the townspeople gathered to chat and enjoy a snack with a glass of wine in hand.

Those stones no longer exist, but we decided to be inspired by the stone wall of the hermitage, photographing its texture. By applying an emboss (upward relief) and a deboss (downward relief) and in combination with the Fasson Cotton Extra White paper we achieve a high level of roughness on the label. At the same time, we decided that the protagonist would be the doorknob of the same hermitage, as a symbol of entry and start to the new project, using two stampings and also emboss and deboss to achieve a high degree of realism.

Wine made with 100% Red Fine grapes. Manual harvest with selection by parcels of origin. Elaboration in small stainless steel tanks. C rianza of 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Very covered cherry red wine. Clean and bright. Expressive on the nose, complex and intense. Notes of undergrowth and ripe fruit and evolves to spicy notes. Silky in the mouth, balanced and with a great volume. Kind and long tannin. Subtle, spicy toasted notes.
