Sandstrom Partners tasked Steven Noble with creating a series of custom illustrations for a new line of whisky called Forthwest Whisky that includes Spice of Life, Shiny Apple, and Giant Peach. These labels were applied to 100% Recycled glass Estal Rude Glass Collection produced by Hood River Distillers, Inc. The artwork was rendered in a scratchboard woodcut style.

Shiny Apple
A brilliant green apple nose immediately puts you in an orchard at harvest. The first sip is met with the complexity of warm brown sugar, grapefruit, floral notes and vanilla that blend together in a three-dimensional mashup of your senses. It’s a juicy masterpiece of flavors.

Giant Peach
The scent of peach fruit nectar, burnt sugar, honey and wispy hints of oak set the stage for your palate. From the first sip you’ll discover a light, smooth Canadian spirit, fine-tuned for approachability, met with a remarkable burst of peach skin tang. This magic is accompanied by a symphony of light citrus twist, vanilla, baking spices and a juiciness that cools the tasting jets. It’s music for your mouth.

Spice of life
The untamed scent of orange peel and ginger meet flavors of nutmeg, clove, cinnamon and butterscotch. A light, approachable spirit that always finishes with a soft touch. Classically Canadian whisky up front, with a lively flavor parade throughout.

Forthwest whisky
Notes of vanilla, sarsaparilla and brown sugar mingle within a smooth, approachable and optimistic whisky attitude. A forward facing whisky blended to establish and confirm rumors of deliciousness.
