The Brief
I had the lovely opportunity to design the brand identity and product label for Terremoto’s Premium Sangria. Based on the client brief, the design should take inspiration from “Terremoto,” the Spanish word for earthquake — with fruits popping up from the cracks. I designed the logo to show a bit of a shake on the letters and drew all the custom illustrations to make the packaging uniquely Terremoto’s Premium Sangria.

The Design Details
Inspired by the elements of a sangria drink, I created custom brand illustrations of fruits (grapes, oranges, apples), ice, leaves, and sparkly elements to create a lively, colorful label. I rendered the 3D bottle mockup used for the label. There are two versions of the sangria: red and white. With this in mind, I designed two bottle packaging variations: a black, luxurious label base and cap for the red sangria, and a fresh, light pink label and cap for the white sangria.

The Terremoto’s Story
“When I was 6, my mom had a gift shop in a hotel. I’d go there to spend time with her, run around the hotel, wreak havoc and chaos. My MO. The pristine office of the Spanish hotel Manager, Alfredo Roca, was not spared. He told my mom, “tu hijo es un TerremotoO.” “Your son is an earthquake.” Alfredo, a close family friend, calls me Terremoto to this very day.
