The Briefing: Create the new line of Vinarel·les signature wines, a very personal, identity-based and unique project. Some wines designed by the winegrower, wines from terroir and very limited vinification. They had to be aspirational products.
The solution: Joan Arrufí, one of the great winegrowers of the Terra Alta (southern Catalonia – Spain), always sketches and writes down all his thoughts in his inseparable notebook, all the nuances as if he were an alchemist, he always remembers that he designs his wines, That’s why we call them signature wines.
The author’s notebook is the main protagonist of the design. Each wine becomes a technical sheet, a page full of notes written by the author himself (we made him write the different labels one by one, as part of the creative process). As a result we obtain a unique and personal design. Furthermore, each type of grape is underlined by a fluorescent marker, in this way we achieve a timeless and attractive graphic game, and easily visible to the sommeliers.
Each label, being enveloping, has a space for the consumer to write down their perceptions about the wine, since they are wines designed to be collected, which is why we proposed attaching a pencil to the mouth of the bottle, to facilitate interaction. of the user/buyer with the product/winegrower, and thereby create that emotional bond with the brand. We are sure that these wines will be protagonists on every table they are presented and will be remembered by everyone.
