Angel’s Envy is a hand crafted, small batch whiskey produced by Louisville Distilling Company, a subsidiary of Bacardi Limited. As a result of their success, they found their distillery visitor centre was not big enough to accommodate visitor demand.

Working closely with the design team at Contagious, Where Giants Roam created a series of visuals for this expansion, visualising a whole host of new spaces including 5 tasting rooms, a new and enlarged retail area, and numerous event spaces and bars. As the proposed expansion plans were competed during Covid, Contagious utilised the skills of Where Giants Roam to provide photorealistic CGIS to accurately depict their designed spaces to help gain client approval and also double as sales and marketing collateral. Within these spaces was a multitude of assets, from merchandise through to the bottles themselves, all of which the Where Giants Roam team pored over in order to ensure the quality of the visuals reflected the quality of the space. Subtle details were added to increase realism, down to adding serving staff and even adding branding to their aprons, all complimenting the feel of this as a space created by, and for, whiskey lovers.

In addition to the imagery, Where Giants Roam also developed a range of Virtual Reality spaces to create a virtual tour of the overall space, allowing the Contagious team, and Louisville Distilling Company to gain a better understanding of the spaces and how these felt as a visitor moving through them.

The result is a range of assets that aided in both the planning stage, from visualising interior design and branding choices, right through to giving both the Contagious and Angel’s Envy team a library of marketing collateral that could be used in press releases, across social media and on the website prior to opening – providing real excitement and anticipation long before the doors actually opened.
