Romafolli is a new holistic scalp care brand based in the UK. The range of crystal-charged, hand-blended scalp oils and accessories is designed to address hair loss through potent natural ingredients as well as a holistic approach to wellness. Romafolli partnered with brand studio Aligned Design Co. to create a brand identity, packaging and website that evokes the abundance of nature. They launched in autumn 2023 with six exquisite oil products, housed in golden yellow glass bottles with tiny crystals visible inside. Each blend is targeted at a specific scalp concern, from excess shedding to irritation, and each contains crystals to enhance and support the active ingredients. For example, sleep-regulating crystal moonstone was chosen for the Night Oil and calming crystal amethyst for Stop Shedding Now.

The packaging tells the story of nature’s abundance, with hand-drawn illustrations of tropical plants and extracts. Textured paper stocks and metallic foils were selected to elevate the outer boxes, with harmonious colours differentiating each product’s function and helping customers navigate the product choices.
The studio worked with Susanne Geert, a Copenhagen-based photographer, to bring the brand to life through atmospheric images that incorporate natural plant life and a calm, luxurious vibe. The photography builds a beautiful brand world on the website, romafolli.com, where you feel enveloped by the lush greenery and exquisite light.
