Rebranding Prebel: Beautycare Partners

Prebel is the largest cosmetics and personal care company in Colombia and one of the largest in the world. Within its portfolio they have recognized brands such as: Arden for men and Nude as well as the representation of international brands such as: Max Factor, Covergirl, Wella, and Cadiveu, among many others. They also work hand in hand with major companies such as Amazon, P&G and Unilever.

We redesigned a brand that goes beyond simply making products or being a supplier of products or services, to turn them into problem solvers and partners of the entire value chain of a Beautycare product. From product conceptualization, through packaging design and distribution, to the creation of communication at all touchpoints. That’s why the concept of “End to end beautycare” was born, which in essence summarizes everything the company does but had not known how to tell the world about it. Until now…

We found that Prebel at its core is integration. Integration of knowledge, technology and solutions. It is integration of beauty and care. An integrator with 80 years of history, but above all an integrator of people. They are the partners in the creation of an authentic world. A world that looks and feels better. That looks like B2B but acts like B2C. That’s why we created the positioning of “Beautycare partners” that summarizes a clear, coherent and differential brand essence within the category. More than suppliers, they are partners who co-create unique and customized solutions that allows them to discover the potential of clients.

We gave a new life to a flexible, liquid, modern, global, innovative and human brand that moves away from traditional B2B and category cliché visual codes such as the use of feminine elements and effusive color palettes, which are aligned to B2C makeup brand trends or simply show boring, serious and soulless brands.

The entire brand universe is centered around the concept of integration and how Prebel is a company with many versatile areas and services that integrate to spot opportunities and then bring them to life across the entire value chain.

We relied on the union that is generated when two drops or different liquids come together, to represent that integration of thoughts and areas. Also in the “fluidity” or adaptation that requires an elaborate and personalized consulting process as the company does with each of its clients who need to solve complex and diverse problems.
