First Frame Brand Identity Concept

First Frame Brand Identity Concept

First Frame is an online filmmaking school that teaches adults about cinematography and filmmaking. It is suitable for the ones who are making their first steps in filmmaking, as well as more experienced people that want to learn something new and become more professional. First Frame is a friendly and reliable brand that focuses on providing high quality education while being bold and creative with its learning materials.

Logotype symbolizes letter F and a fragment of the viewfinder. It can be used on its own like an independent graphic symbol and appears on the First Frame merch. Brand identity uses three vibrant colors that are similar to RGB model. Each color is assigned to the difficulty level of the course, workshop or lecture. Stylized viewfinder frames remind of the modern technologies and advanced equipment that are used in the film industry and also create the illusion of camera that focuses on an object just like First Frame students focus on their studying.

One of the most important key visuals of First Frame are promotional posters that reference famous movies in order to capture viewers attention. Posters are used to announce lectures and workshops that provide knowledge about filmmaking by the example of beloved pieces of cinema familiar to everyone. Catchy titles create non-formal atmosphere because filmmaking is not all about theory strict rules.

Overall First Frame identity provides both professional and creative image of the brand that allows it to be appealing to people of different backgrounds. Bright, but not overcomplicated, its aim is to make learning about cinematography effective and entertaining for everyone.
