Making Waves, Boundless Brand Design Designs Plymouth Gin’s New Limited Edition Bottle, In Partnership With Ocean Conservation Trust

Boundless Brand Design and Plymouth Gin have come together to create an extraordinary collaboration – the captivating ‘Ocean Edition’ bottle. Steeped in history, with a heritage that dates to 1793, Plymouth Gin is a beloved icon nestled in the heart of Plymouth harbour. Like gin to tonic, its story is anchored in the pristine beauty of the surrounding sea, a tale of true originality that is now about to take an exciting new turn.

In a joint effort to promote sustainability and protect our oceans, Boundless Brand Design and Plymouth Gin have partnered with the Ocean Conservation Trust (OCT) to craft a limited edition bottle that is not only visually stunning, but also environmentally responsible. The partnership sees £1 of every sale going to Ocean Conservation Trust.

Drawing inspiration from the breath-taking landscape of the English southwest coast, the bottle boasts a seamless, naturally flowing wave, wrapped around the bottle, with printed textured glass to add depth and character, while the 100% recyclable glass and aluminium cap with a distressed copper finish speak to the commitment to sustainability.

The cigar band label proudly showcases the collaboration between Plymouth Gin and OCT, reinforcing the brand’s mission to protect and conserve our oceans. The main label, adorned with hues of sea blue, integrates with the bottle’s navy heritage, creating a harmonious fusion of design and purpose. Every element of the ‘Ocean Edition’ bottle is thoughtfully crafted to evoke a sense of wonder, while also advocating for the preservation of our oceans.

Hamish Shand, Founder and Creative Director says, “Having spent my childhood and adolescence by the coast, this project has a very close place to my heart. We wanted to capture the natural elements of the coastline and combine it with characterful texture to capture the beauty of the ocean. It’s great to support Plymouth in their commitment to sustainability and giving back, a truly purposeful cause.”
