Break the mould. Reshape the category. Taking tradition out of brandy and communicating to a younger audience; redefining the category and shaping the future of British brandy.
We have created an energetic British brandy brand and packaging for Britain’s first ever commercial brandy house – creating an identity and place for brandy to live in the modern world of spirits; where identity, transparency and relevance are core to consumer behaviour and consumption.
Compared to most spirit categories, there has been virtually no liquid innovation in brandy, especially as the appellation rules for Cognac keeps production very traditional. Burnt Faith isn’t restricted by the same laws as a Cognac so there’s no need to follow those rules – it is free to unleash what it believes is the true potential of this category – using more aromatic grape varieties, explorative production techniques and different aging casks is just the beginning of the Burnt Faith journey.
Unbound by tradition Burnt Faith challenges the status quo – brandy without boundaries, an innovative new narrative ready to redefine and revive this category as emerging generations of spirit consumers turn to brands for self-expression and representation, enriching the category and repositioning brandy – first on a local and then on a global scale. Highlighting individuality and inclusiveness – youthful creativity, energy and self-confidence – the bottle structure is empathetic to historical and religious vessels which were held aloft and shared. The sleek glass bottleneck texture enhances a sensory experience and promotes a lasting positive difference for everyone – connectivity, relationships and spirit – forget the old and live in the now. Its East London urban energy running through its veins. With ‘no restrictions and pure creation’ it delivers the diversity, values and style needed to represent today’s culture.
We have used a recycled (and receyclable) glass bottle with a glass Vinolok closure, instead of traditional cork, for longevity – with the intent that the bottle would be highly desirable and likely to be used by consumers for second use (ie as a table water bottle). Despatched in cardboard containers it is 100% plastic free and fully recyclable.
