Brewery Wielka Sowa & Winnica Niemczańska joined forces and created this beautiful combination of grapes and hops. A beer made in the spirit of wine using wine making techniques and ingredients. The effect of their work is a light refreshing beer of upper fermentation with delicate notes of white fruit from grape must and hops – Nelson Sauvin. They presented us with a one-of-a-kind challenge – to create a packaging for this new and exciting product.

Blend of grape and hope is not a totally new concept, many Italian craft breweries have produced Grape Ale but definitely it is still a very unique product and one of the first on the Polish market. This special ingredient brings something exceptional to the beer world, not only aroma or color but also this remarkable a new deep character that defies the simple definition of “beer”.

We wanted to combine these two worlds in one colorful and impactful label. As a core approach we wanted to creatively express this wild combination as two forces working together and battling in this uneasy task of balance without kidnaping one by another. We reinterpreted their characteristic brand symbols and presented them as one hypnotic illustration of colorful owl holding a key in its beak. We have created a visually striking label with rich, colorful and vibrant illustration details. To give it even more psychedelic and fun spin we used prismatic foil for the final holographic effect.

Combining colorful and detailed illustration, custom label shape, prismatic foil, we create a fresh and exciting design that stands out.
