Frondi, a newly re-launched waffle snack, has recently unveiled its branding campaign, marking its entry into the Croatian market. The new branding campaign is designed to showcase the uniqueness and distinctiveness of the product range while also highlighting the brand’s core values and mission. The campaign aims to establish Frondi as the preferred choice among waffle lovers and position it as a premium brand in the competitive market.
Frondi is a legendary and simple Croatian long waffle snack filled with various tasty creams. For years Frondi was famous for its only simple cacao filling. However brand decided to re-launch with a numerous new fillings. In order to communicate new range of tastes new campaign decided to use topography as a form of illustration in order to clearly communicate new tastes. Campaign uses simple illustration and typography to communicate wide range of Frondi tastes available. Campaign was featured on OOH and print advertising formats, as well as on numerous point of sale materials
Typically this sort of campaigns use 3D renders and are packshot focused. This time Frondi campaign used design language as a unexpected primary medium of communication.
Frondi branding campaign is an excellent example of how a brand can successfully communicate its products in a competitive and saturated market. The campaign effectively communicates the brand’s playful values and mission while also highlighting the quality of its products.
