Cardo is the career development center at National Taiwan University – the top university in Taiwan. Cardo guides students with training programs and professional consulting and connects them to their careers. The service includes training classes, professional talks, and programs like Internships and Talent Cultivating. The mission is to help students get into their careers as seamlessly as possible. As a center that faces students directly daily by providing assistance and guidance, it has always wanted to have its brand identity to differentiate it from all the school departments.
The rebranding project includes a new brand identity, a primary and secondary color palette, English and Mandarin typefaces, posters, web, print, digital marketing assets, and a style guide. The new design was inspired by the people-friendly environment of Cardo, aligned with the image that Cardo wanted to show to the audience. It ends up with an energetic, friendly look with a professional tone that makes it stand up in the university. The primary colors – orange and purple give brightness and liveliness; both colors are used in various layout combinations and settings to keep the visual language and brand style.
The project has successfully driven the students and the general audience’s attention with its’ new brand designs. Many students just learned about the center that has always been in the school for the first time because of the rebranding. It has helped countless students with its service.
