A partner of ours in the Middle East was gradually losing market share, mainly due to the having outdated old packaging design.
We created a design that would awaken the lost emotional connection with the consumer and convey the brand values more effectively.
In the targeted market the dairy presence is very fierce given that a very big number of brands are competing against one another. Studying the market we noted that the differentiation of brand designs on the dairy section shelf is quite weak and Consumers find it difficult to choose which brand to pick out from the variety on the shelf. Moreover, from a creative standpoint, we notice that the branding and design approach for all dairy products in the targeted market is overall chaotic and lacks an impactful strategic plan. In addition, the image of a cow is so often used by competing brands.
The Solution
To counter this problems we created a design that would tickle the consumers’ interest and draw his attention, creating a needed emotional connection. The design is distinct and recognizable so as to more effectively convey the values of the brand at first encounter.
We used images of a farmer with his cow, depicting different scenarios of a happy farm life. The story of the friendship between a farmer and his cow evolves, and due to its success, the packaging has become the carrier of the essence of the brand. Images of a friendship between a farmer and his cow are a colorful animation bringing life to the once bland packaging.
The product will bring smiles to buyers and passers by, and the story of a happy farm life will be told through its range of products, turning the packaging into the carrier of the brand’s story.
We brought variety and differentiation to the designs to show the options of flavors through colors and animated images of the farmer and his cow and their fun farm life.
