Amin Toys is a local toy manufacturer that is focused on producing high quality toys that could be affordable for most part of the population in Uzbekistan. Company also has its own shops in different cities of the country.
In the current project, our goal was to redesign the packaging for a collection of military-themed toy pack, that consists of a tank, helicopter and an SUV. Initially, the pack was supposed to be sold in a small fabric bag — it was not presentable enough and the packaging made the product look cheaper and less attractful.
That is why we decided to make it something closer to the premium toys: changed the pack format from a bag, to a box, and designed unique illustrations that could display the actual look of toys and potentially increase the sales.
In order to make realistic, authentic and correct illustrations, we analyzed several action games based on military machines and their warfare, to find out more about the physics of such objects.
Another important part of the working process was 3D modeling. It was crucial for us to make the models maximally close to the actual look of toys — because customers always expect getting just what they see on the pack, and if the actual product seems different, worse, less shiny or attractive, it generates a lot of negative to the brand and store, which causes financial and reputational losses.
As a result, we created a packaging that now allows us to sell the product as something that is worth to gift for special occasions like birthdays, Christmas parties or other holidays.
