Spritzza! It is a gastronomic project located in the neighborhood of Palermo, in the city of Buenos Aires. The project seeks to bring to the forefront the consumption of its two main products: pizza and a self-made spritz. It is a night proposal in one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the city that seeks to escape from the classic, bringing an air of freshness to the scene.
For Spritzza!´s branding we created a fiction around a supposed brand creator, Santino Stevani, a young Italian descent who grew up in New York City and, tired of his own eccentricity and excesses, came to live in Argentina in search of new directions and there he founded Spritzza! Like a battle cry, a hymn to good living and waste.
The neighborhood of Palermo is saturated with gastronomic proposals and it is very difficult for the consumer to choose a space to hang out. Spritzza! It comes to bring simplicity to that question.
The reading and attention time of an average viewer does not exceed 3 seconds, so you have to be more and more specific with communication ideas. We took the two main consumer products and put them at the forefront. Pizza & Spritz = Spritzza! The name already tells a story and a consumption experience. From the color palette and the typographical use we play to the same language system, the color of the saturated product well up front, a large grotesque sans-serif font and a classic secondary font to tell the story.
In recent years, especially after the Covid19 pandemic, the city of Buenos Aires has exploded with gastronomic proposals of all kinds and there are fewer opportunities left to create something different from the product and the experience, with which design and communication pass to be a fundamental pillar in the creation of this type of project.
