Faith is our inspiration…
The task was to brand the products made by the “Gouvernetos” Monastery.
We were asked to create the concept, logo, and packaging of the products.
Faith. Our hearts and minds in sync with a superior power that guides us through life. Mysticism. The desire found deep within the human nature, to explore, question and approach the divine through different means of expression, beliefs, and rationales.
Neptic fathers: Those who abstain from wine drinking. Sober and prudent.
With unceasing prayer, constant spiritual practice, sincere repentance and unceasing inclination and purification for a virtuous life…

Our inspiration came from the architectural decoration elements of old churches in Greece, traditional one line design symbols in monasteries and the stamp motifs found on various artifacts used by priests and monks during ritual ceremonies.
I entered the temple. Before sitting on the bench, my gaze rested for a while on the decorative elements. I thought of their creator and then, ours. The light that came in from the long and narrow stained glass windows, illuminated with color, only a few places. A contrast that brought more peace within me. The priest began to preach his word, and more light would come out of his words than through the windows.
The composition of space, emotion and light, was in perfect harmony through the vagueness of darkness.
The soul, opens.
We approached the designs through a maximalistic look. Our desire was to demonstrate a labyrinth, symbolizing the path that humans must travel to experience the journey of faith.
The central elements mentally represent mankind in the center of this labyrinth and the different paths they can choose to follow to reach the divine.
We chose intense color schemes, with extreme contrasts to make the design elements stand out and provoke a feeling of awe.
