Embacy created a branding, website and ux+ui for Gigs. It is a platform where talented freelancers connect with web3 projects. At the time of the emergence of the gig economy, Gigs is building a safe, secure, collective-oriented environment for freelancers through a user-friendly and user-driver platform.
The Gigs platform offers many benefits, a key one being a connection point between quality talent and web3 projects. It is a space for talented specialists to build their online reputation, allowing projects to find and hire the best in the industry. Connection is secure because Gigs.xyz acts as a trusted third party with an on-chain smart contract on Solana — a system, where projects and talents can pay and be paid in a stable currency. Gigs’ platform will be directly controlled by its users through a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), allowing every member of the community to have a say.
The main taglines of the project are “You are a part of the big world” and “Every action contributes”. They allow a better understanding of a brand positioning.
Gigs is a human-to-human platform, focusing primarily on the needs of freelancers. Embacy designed the identity around characters, which a key audience could relate to.
Illustrated little creatures portray imaginary inhabitants of the Gigs ecosystem. They make the identity more friendly and playful. Characters’ design accords with the key idea of the product – building the world of professionals interacting within web3 projects.
As the characters are talented workers, they can use all the surroundings to build their new world. Unknown plants, letters and characters themselves play the role of the surroundings. All the characters have big arms to interact freely with the surroundings and objects.
Middle European forests have become a reference for plant illustrations, as these forests are the most suitable environment for the development of different types of animals and bugs.
The logo’s font is a sans-serif typeface Manuka. Embacy has changed some letterforms to add uniqueness. The illustrative logotype is primarily used for the website, and it also could be used independently.
The Gigs’ identity consists of four colors: vibrant colors of nature are balanced with calm and unique cream.
