Provinciana is a Colombian beer with a regional character. It is always brewed in very small batches to rigorously take care of the process and always have an optimal result. In this process, the exploration is made with only natural ingredients, collected and selected in the Colombian fields or small localities, so that a traditional recipe is reborn with a local identity; and also, the recipes are reinterpreted with new combinations of ingredients in order to exalt new characteristics. No substitutes are used in the processing (stabilizers, antioxidants, clarifiers or colorants are avoided). In general, it is a product that is worked with rigor and care throughout the entire process.
The company started its activity with three varieties of lager and American wheat beer, all very light and perfect for pairing with Colombian food, or simply to drink. The client asked me to create a system that would allow to distinguish these varieties and at the same time leave room for new ones to be created. The solution I gave to this system was inspired by colonial architecture, simple, functional and very warm (warmth generated by the combination of colors typical of Colombian patrimonial houses). As a central element I chose a window containing nature, I turned it into a geometric icon and around it I placed the brand (which helped me to organize the name, which was very long) and at the bottom of the packaging I placed the variety and particular data of each product. Bottoms up, or how we say it, salud!
