CF Napa Brand Design Captures the Spirit of Adventure for Bird Creek Distillery’s Line of Small Batch Whiskeys
Portland, Oregon-based Bird Creek Distillery came to CF Napa Brand Design to design their new whiskey brand packaging, custom glass bottle, and custom tasting glasses. The brand is sustainability focused and uses high-quality, local ingredients so it was important that the whiskey packaging reflected this in addition to celebrating nature and the unique beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Inspired by the majestic Mt. Adams, CF Napa Brand Design created a custom glass bottle and matching tasting glasses with a punt in the shape of the mountain. A minimalistic screenprint allowed the whiskey bottle design to stand out as the focal point of the packaging. The paper neck labels contained the informative whiskey data including age, bottle number, and barley variety to further support the brand’s use of specialty ingredients. CF Napa Brand Design created six collectible wooden T-top closures with working compasses and images inspired by the fauna found on Mt. Adams. The T-top closures were engraved with the geographic coordinates to the Bird Creek Meadows (46°09’08.6” N, 121°26’30.0” W), one of the brand owner’s favorite hiking locations, further emphasizing the brand’s adventurous spirit and slogan – “Never Stop Exploring”.
