Thousand Oaks had been missing out on the craft brewery explosion, until Tarantula Hill Brewing Co. arrived. A 22,000 sq. ft. facility brought the people of Thousand Oaks a complete in-house craft brewery offering wood fired pizza, artisan ice cream, and fine house roasted coffee. Breaking the traditional mold for a retail front eatery, this enormous project at hand went underway in 2017 in downtown Thousand Oaks. Each of these brands needed an identity system, allowing each to be representative on its own, but come together & be recognized as one brand. Soon, Tarantula Hill Brewing Co. quickly became a benchmark in Ventura County.

Studio Ethur Ethur began working on this project one year before the doors opened to develop the brand, packaging, apparel, digital, & all print collateral to have a go-to-market brand package. Identity marks, packaging, photography, on-premise collateral, signage, and digital strategy were all built to create an authentic, true to the source ethos that the community of Thousand Oaks could enjoy for years to come. This brand quickly gained recognition for its quality atmosphere, service, & products that has but Thousand Oaks on the map in the brewery world.

In 2021, Tarantula Hill Brewing Co. signed with Stone Distrobution & widened their footprint to all of Southern California.
