Barrel Finished Cigar Gin label and packaging creation for Big Red Liquors. The objective on this particular project was to build a look for a higher price gin in which to compete on the shelves with existing gin products, while targeting a more sophisticated, male audience. As the label reads, this is crafted for the aficionado. The design was inspired by classic old world cigar bands. The ornate detail and rich tone colors were used to create a classic feel. A lures of tobacco leaves wrap the perimeter. Metallic foil paper with color overprint was used for the label. A similar metallic foil cap sleeve was created to draw attention on the shelves while adding perceived value to the product.
