“Funkelstunde” is a champagne inspired by the small, precious moments that you keep in your heart for a long time.

The design was created for the most wonderful time of the year, when the air fills with love, harmony and joy while friends and family sit together by the fire . All this happens as the stars shine outside in the crisp, cold sky and the fog of our breath carries stories onto the streets.

To visually translate this exact feeling, a nostalgic logo inspired by old newspapers and magazines was designed. The characteristic lines in combination with an abstract star make the packaging stand out strikingly.

Black bottles filled with a shiny gold liquid are the base for the label, which shows an illustrated image of sparkling champagne pearls in a blue-black night sky on uncoated creamy coloured paper. The back label features a story of hidden wishes, winter magic and time spent with family, friends and sparkling drinks.

For this, a champagne of the Blanc de Noirs variety was carefully chosen, which is made exclusively from black grapes, that shine in a brilliant white after the finished manufacturing process.

The enclosed postcards are provided with messages, sayings and pictures, which were designed for the festive occasions such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve or simply to put a smile on the face of a special person.

This fruity champagne reflects the minimalist and delicate style of the two Hamburg designers who teamed up for their first collaboration. It is the perfect way to get in the mood for the upcoming festive season and all its sparkling moments.
