Les Camades is a wine made from several estates surrounding the village of Torroja del Priorat. The design label is based in the leyend of the Priorat, L’Escaladei : The narrative tells how two knights commanded by Alfonso I “the Chaste” in search of an ideal place to establish the Carthusian order in the Peninsula managed to reach the foot of the Montsant. There they asked a pastor about that place. In addition to informing them, the shepherd related a mystical event that happened in the valley. In the tallest pine there was a ladder where angels from heaven rose and fell. The knights communicated it to the king that he offered that place to the order. The Carthusians raised the altar of the temple dedicated to Santa María in the same place where the tree was”
We have recreated this illustration that recreates the essence of history, and we have designed a wine label that reflects the essence of Priorat, its tradition and its value in history.

As you can see, the illustration for the wine label is the protagonist. The imagery that we created for the Bravo Escós winery is unique and full of personality. A wine illustration that represents us as a studio, and thanks to our graphic artist, Annita Rivera, better known as Plástica, who has created through collage an image that resembles an old engraving. An aesthetic that brings the wine label to an elegant, sober and traditional language. Reminiscent of the most classic French wines.
