The project is packaging for a line of traditional Russian healthy and natural home-made compotes. The packaging is aluminum cans of 0.5 liters. This type of packaging is chosen in order to interest youngsters in the drink, because the product is not common among young people, unfortunately, while they like bright, colourful cans.

The product: There are cherry, apples, apricots, black currants and raspberries compotes presented at the moment, because those types are the most common in Russia, but there are a lot of other varieties of the beverage.
Compote is Russian traditional beverage made from fresh or dried fruits or berries and sugar. People love and appreciate home-made compote due to its sweet flavour and health benefits.

Design: Simple modern graphic and typography symbolise the simplicity of product composition, because the product include only four ingredients, such as fruits, water, sugar, citric acid and nothing more. Bright colours help the product stand out on the market shelf from competitors. The pattern symbolises the main ingredient and the flavour. Also, different colours help costumer differentiate the stock keeping unit and easily and quickly find his or her favourite taste. All these design features allow manufacturers and designers continue working on the line of products, because the new patterns are easily created due to minimalistic style.
