We were approached to help create a new organic dairy brand. To identify a core positioning to the brand and designs that narrate the core values of the brand to the consumer through the packaging. The process of this project ran from Brand positioning to strategy. Understanding the architecture of their products so that the design would flow across a large range of products and any future products they may create.
The British Organic Dairy Co. is a collective of small British farms that are all founded on a common set of values in traditional farming. It was essential that the designs focussed on this ‘small farming’ part of the values and expressed how small UK farms are in comparison to ‘small’ farms across the pond. Each farm is set in the quaint British countryside, vast fields surrounded by woods. Farming techniques and machinery are dated but still an essential part of the day to day life. There is a sense of pride that runs through all small British Farms, it’s not about money, it’s about a living, a culture. Early mornings and late nights are driven by a passion for the countryside and producing quality farming products.
Made with organic milk from free-to-roam grass-fed cows raised on farms that follow sustainable, regenerative practices. The British Organic Dairy Co champion British small farms. We developed a brand that invites the consumer into the British countryside. Illustrations were created of a series of the farms not only to visualise quintessential British farms but to entice you into the landscapes that support and make the brand what it is.
