Maii Elgallad is a talented fashion designer based in Egypt, known for her stylish and delicate pieces. She approached me with a challenging request which is to create her clothing brand identity with a symbolic mark that easily shows off her style and brand persona effortlessly, after discussions we thought the peacock symbol has a prideful spirit and delicacy and reflects maii’s personality ,we decided to design an elegant feminine peacock mark. it was really exciting and challenging experience to work on this project, you can see this clearly through the projects color palette, typographic styles and art direction, thanks for watching.

We started this challenging project with a few sketched of birds and insects the describe and shows off the beauty of her fashion style as well as her brand personality, the main three attribute we caught our attention were pride, femininity, and boldness. these were the three key elements that helped us develop a logo mark that is timeless and describable, the peacock personality conveys pride and its light feathers and colors inspired us to choose the perfect taglines for such project, the boldness was to create a unique typographic wordmark as this is a personal identity and she preferred to reflect her style and touch through her designs and materials.

The color palette was picked based on the femininity the identity would reflect and not form the peacock bird as is too colorful and we were clear that we wanted two or three colors as the package is simple.
